The Trethewey Family

Every year we put on the aprons, and we start our sugar cookie tradition. The ingredients are all assembled, and each person gets a certain job of making the dough. Then we pull out the old cookie cutters that have been collected over the year. We introduce the new cookie cutter for the new year, and cheers flood the room. We roll, cut them out, and then wait patiently to allow them to cool before putting on a secret family buttercream icing! Over the years, the aprons have changed, and the helping of adding ingredients has gotten different, but the smiles of creating these fun cookies together never seem to change.
