Whether you have been faithfully watching The Chosen since Season One or you are jumping in now, we invite you and your guests to attend this free event at Jackson Theater- Punsxy Community Center on Oct. 14, 6pm, sponsored by Come and See. The world is about to head to the foot of the Cross in an unprecedented way as

The Chosen tells the story of Jesus’ crucifixion across six upcoming streaming episodes and a globally released movie. We know the first-century crucifixion was ghastly. While the Crucifixion is not depicted in Episode One, there is a scene of violence in this episode. Our desire is to be as spoiler-free as possible, but if you are well-acquainted with the events of Jesus’ arrest in the Garden, which is depicted in Episode One, you are aware of the moment of violence that will unfold on the screen. It is rather quick and not overly graphic, but it will still be hard for many to watch, regardless of age. Please use your discernment if your children should attend.

All proceeds from the movie concession stand will help support our local community center.
