On May 17th, we’ll be celebrating a big milestone, your child is “on the move" to their next grade level!

We do this a little earlier than the school year on purpose. It gives kids the whole summer to jump into events, build friendships, and get comfortable in environments designed specifically for their new age group. For those transitioning from KidsRock to Velocity, this early move makes the change feel natural and fun as they connect with their new peers over the summer.

For our younger kids staying in KidsRock but moving rooms, this also helps make the start of the school year smoother with fewer changes all at once. Velocity Students: May 17th, our Velocity Teams will be hanging out with our 5th graders in their KidsRock environment and introducing them to all the cool events coming up for the summer. Velocity Students will be off for May 24th for Memorial Day weekend. On May 31st, incoming 5th graders can sit in the student section at Night of Worship!

2. Keep Information Updated: You may be asked to confirm or update your child’s grade and school information. This helps us communicate clearly and make sure they’re invited to the right age-specific events all summer long.

3. Share Your Child’s Needs: Every child in KidsRock is unique. As we continue growing our special needs support across all family ministry environments, please let us know if there’s a reason your child may need a different plan. We’re committed to working with you to find the best fit for them.
