PSALM 73:23-26
Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. 24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

In March of 2020, the world was engulfed in a season of profound uncertainty. I remember sitting on the couch in my basement, wrestling with my intense emotions while seeking clarity from God on how to spiritually lead His church forward. I was overwhelmed by conflicting thoughts, and my soul felt suffocated by unrest.
Then, a newly released song brought everything into perspective as God's presence and peace enveloped me. Here are the words of the chorus.
May His favor be upon you // And a thousand generations // And your family and your children // And their children, and their children // May His presence go before you // And behind you, and beside you // All around you, and within you // He is with you, he is with you // In the morning, in the evening // In your coming, and your going // In your weeping, and rejoicing // He is for you, he is for you // He is, He is // Amen. (The Blessing by Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Elevation Worship)
God's presence is with you. His power. His peace. His promises. And that is all you need.

(What is God telling you to do? Write it down!)

- PRAY -
Pause and pray. Pray over the Scripture and listen to what God is saying to you. Celebrate God's presence and hand your requests over to Him.
