JOHN 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Trouble has a way of creeping in from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to surround and pounce on you. It whispers, "You are mine!" and then leaves you to fixate on what might happen. Trouble unleashes an unyielding weight upon your chest and seeks to assault you from all sides.
It is Jesus who shines a light on the reality that you will face trouble. This is a bold, clarifying, and revealing statement.
Just think: what if He had stopped there? But He didn’t. He shares such incredible hope in just five words: "I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD!"
And because of that, you have peace.

Pause and pray. Pray over the Scripture and listen to what God is saying to you. Celebrate God's presence and hand your requests over to Him.
